Human Body Skeleton and Internal Organs

To introduce the Human Skeleton and some of the internal organs, I used the wonderful resource from "Confessions of a Homeschooler".

The first step was for the kids to cut out their own puzzle pieces.

Secondly, they used magnets to build their human skeleton on our magnetic dry-erase board.

Once they figured out the correct position of each piece, they glued the pieces on 2 letter size sheets of paper.

Next, we cut a flap, and glued the organs on another set of paper underneath.

Finally, we added labels.

We don't participate in Halloween, but this time of year is a great time to pick up a plastic skeleton for $1.00 at your nearest Dollar Tree to enhance the Anatomy lessons.
